Plans are designed to match your current deductible and/or Maximum Out of Pocket. After a qualifying event, the supplemental insurance pays a check directly to you for the full benefit amount. If set up correctly, the goal is to prevent you from paying bills out of your own pocket due to hospitalization. These plans can begin at any time and will work alongside your current health insurance plan (private, commercial, or Medicare).
Supplemental plan Cash Benefit

$5k - $100k
Upon first diagnosis of life threatening cancer, heart attack, stroke, ALS, Alzheimer's, or End Stage Renal Failure you receive the full benefit amount (reoccurrence of cancer, heart attack, or stroke will result in a second cash benefit of half the original value).
*$5k and $10k benefits are Guarantee Issue amounts (NO health questions).
Accident Plan
$10k - $20k
Any accident that results in hospital admittance. ER visit due to an accident will pay 10% of the set benefit amount.

HospitalWise/Illness Plan

Admittance to the hospital due to an illness will pay the set benefit amounts.
*NEW Guarantee Issue amounts available (matches well with Medicare Advantage plans to pay off In-patient hospital copays)!
